Vernon H. Moret, Jr. has been providing sound financial advice to his clients since 1984. In 2001 he founded Financial Strategies Group in Lafayette, Louisiana, currently a Investment Advisor Representative of Securities America Advisors, Inc. As a hard-working Financial Advisor, Vernon helps his clients pursue their financial goals by managing investment risk through all market environments. Financial Strategies Group clientele includes successful, professional and technical career individuals, business owners and retirees.

Graduating from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (formerly USL), Vernon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, then achieved a Master's Degree (MBA) at Louisiana State University in 1979. Vernon has conducted seminars including “How to Survive in Today Economy,” and penned “Equities: Sound Investment for the 90,” which was published in M.D. News. Vernon also has over 600 career hours of industry-related continuing education and has studied law at LSU Law School.

An active civic and business leader, he has served as Sertoma Club of Lafayette treasurer, vice president and president, Cajun Air Festival chairman, Toastmasters Parlon Nous chapter president, arbitrator with the Better Business Bureau, Performing Arts Society of Acadiana board member, volunteer for the local initiative Rebuilding Acadiana Together, and has served on numerous committees of the Chamber of Commerce.
Vernon is an avid student of history and economics, he also enjoys working out at the gym and playing the occasional bad round of golf.
